We believe in the separation of church and state, but
not in the separation of God and government (Romans
13:1–7). We believe Christians should obey the laws of
the land and render to “Caesar the things that are
Caesar’s” (Matthew 22:21). We also believe that
Christians are obligated by God to seek to make His
will supreme in their own lives and in society as a
whole (Titus 3:8; 1 Timothy 6:17–18).
As Christians, we should live and work in such a way as
to promote righteousness in the world (Proverbs 14:34),
always acting in a spirit of love (Micah 6:8) without
compromising our loyalty to Christ and His truth
(Romans 12:2).
