God

We believe in the one true, living God (John 17:3), who
is the Creator and Sustainer of all things (Colossians
1:16–17). He is infinite (Psalm 90:2), holy (Isaiah 6:3; 1
Peter 1:16), eternal (Genesis 1:1; John 1:1), unchangeable
(James 1:17; Hebrews 13:8), and is revealed to us as the
Father, Son, and Holy Spirit (Matthew 28:19; John 10:30; 2
Corinthians 13:14).
The Father is the head of the Godhead (Colossians 2:9),
and into His hands the kingdom shall be delivered
(1 Corinthians 15:24–28).
The Son (Jesus) is the promised Messiah of the Old
Testament (Matthew 16:16; John 20:31). We believe He
was sent from God (John 17:3; John 4:34), was born of the
virgin Mary (Matthew 1:18–25; Luke 1:26–28), and is the
God-Man. We believe He died on the cross to redeem
and save mankind (Romans 5:8; 1 Peter 3:18), and He rose
bodily from the dead to justify all who believe (Romans
4:25). We believe He has now ascended into heaven and
is at the right hand of God, where He intercedes for us
(Hebrews 7:25; Hebrews 12:2). In the Father’s own time,
He will return in visible, personal form to overthrow
sin and judge the world (John 14:26; Hebrews 9:28;
Revelation 22:12).

The Holy Spirit is the One sent from God to convict the
world of sin, righteousness, and judgment, to
regenerate and cleanse from sin (John 16:8; Titus 3:5).
We believe He indwells believers (Romans 8:9) and is
the resident Guide, Teacher, Strengthener, and
Comforter of the believer (John 14:26).
